Tara, Tibetan Sgrol-ma, Buddhist saviour-goddess with numerous forms, widely popular in Nepal, Tibet, and Mongolia. She is the feminine counterpart of the bodhisattva (“buddha-to-be”) Avalokiteshvara. Known as 度母 to the Chinese, this excellent carving is very finely detailed. Set in 18-karat white gold and diamonds with a jadeite green cabochon, this piece comes with full accreditation of NGI.
